This story gets a bit in the weeds, so I recommend a big sip of coffee before you crack into it. But the headline is: Hillary spied on Trump while he was President.

According to new court filings made by Special Counsel John Durham, lawyers for the Hillary Clinton campaign paid a tech company to “infiltrate” Donald Trump. That tech company spied on him during the 2016 campaign and continued to spy on him while he was the sitting President.

Durham’s court filings allege that the Clinton campaign wanted to establish a “narrative” linking Trump to Russia that it planned to bring to the FBI.

Back up: John Durham was appointed as the Special Council by Attorney General Bill Barr back in 2020 to investigate the origins of the Trump Russia hoax.

The details: Durham’s court filings explain how a Clinton campaign lawyer was working with an unnamed ‘Tech Executive’ who had “access to non-public and/or proprietary Internet data.” The Tech Executive then tasked researchers to mine the data to find dirt on Trump that links him to Russia.

Here’s where it gets really dirty: The court filings revealed this Tech Executive had access to Trump’s data at: “(i) a particular healthcare provider, (ii) Trump Tower, (iii) Donald Trump’s Central Park West apartment building, and (iv) the Executive Office of the President of the United States (EOP).”

How did they get inside the White House? Tech Executive worked for a company that had a government contract to “access and maintain” White House servers. They used this access to literally spy on President Trump’s web traffic while he was in the White House.

I really want you to internalize this. They were spying on the sitting President of the United States of America in order to undermine and unseat him. This goes beyond Russiagate. This is the biggest political scandal in American history.

Trump released a statement: “The latest pleading from Special Counsel John Durham provides indisputable evidence that my campaign and presidency were spied on by operatives paid by the Hillary Clinton Campaign in an effort to develop a completely fabricated connection to Russia. This is a scandal far greater in scope and magnitude than Watergate and those who were involved in and knew about this spying operation should be subject to criminal prosecution. In a stronger period of time in our country, this crime would have been punishable by death. In addition, reparations should be paid to those in our country who have been damaged by this.”
